In a candid reflection, Eric Knight opens up about the inspiration behind “Out of This World,” stating, “This song is deeply personal for me on many levels. It was written for all of the outcasts, loners, and people that don’t quite fit in, people like me. Exploring themes of isolation, depression and self-discovery are very real for me, and I think for a lot of people out there too. The pandemic brought about profound changes in my life, both beautiful and dark, and this song became a cathartic outlet for those emotions.”

In a fascinating convergence of themes, Knight’s captivating track delves into the enigmatic world of summoning aliens, embracing solitude, and embarking on willful alien abduction. The enthralling narrative feels like a page ripped from the script of an unreleased episode of the beloved TV series ‘Stranger Things,’ blurring the lines between imagination and reality. Produced by Shawn Zuzek, and mastered by Joe Bozzi (U2, Van Halen, Imagine Dragons), “Out of This World” represents Eric’s resolute reintroduction and bold new musical statement to the world. “Shawn did such an amazing job on this track, as well as Josh Buma, and being able to work again with Joe Bozzi putting the final shine on was just the icing on the cake.”

Knight shares his excitement about this new phase in his musical journey, stating, “This track is incredibly addictive, one listen and you’re hooked. Not to sound like the government, but I’ve kept this song so ‘top-secret’ that even my own family doesn’t know about this release. I wanted it to be a shock and a surprise. ‘Out of This World’ will make its global debut on all major streaming platforms on Friday April 12, 2024. A pre-save campaign is already underway, accompanied by the release of a striking official video for the song. A special limited edition CD, personally signed & numbered by Eric Knight for the single will be available shortly thereafter. This exclusive release will include various mixes of the track, chronicling its creation from inception with the original demos to the final production. Additionally, a revealing and intimate interview with Eric will be included as part of the release, offering fans a deeper glimpse into the soul of this enigmatic artist.
